The" Journey of a Question," which has been conducted for three successive rounds (2020, 2021, 2022,2023), with a fifth round currently in process, is an Egyptian informal innovation that aims to equip children aged 9-17 with self-questioning skills so that they can lead their own learning, find solutions for today's and tomorrow's problems, nx explore new concepts and facts that meet their needs and the needs of their society.
More than 150 children, 30 facilitators, and an administrative team of ten or more people take part in the initiative each year since it began three years ago. The initiative is built on selfless voluntariness. It is one of the social projects that the Edequest program has adopted.
The initiative is a learning journey in which the student begins by selecting a question that interests him, looking for its answer, and then writing it down in the form of a story that details his search's journey. He or she will receive training on thinking skills, how to conduct a search for sources, and how to connect information and writing within a month.
In order to support, mentor, and train students during their educational journey in the initiative, a number of facilitators are currently undergoing vocational training in remote facilitation skills.
A panel of judges evaluates each participant's story, and those that are chosen are then published online or in a book.
